Michelle joins the firm after practicing as in-house counsel for a large insurance company and is former chair of the New Hampshire Bar Association Workers’ Compensation Section. Michelle has extensive experience counseling employers and insurance carriers in complex workers’ compensation and insurance matters.

Attorney Kevin W. Stuart Appointed to NHBA’s Legislative Committee

Bernard & Merrill once again congratulates Attorney Stuart on his appointment to the Bar Association’s Legislative Committee for the 2017-2018 Association Year. The Legislation Committee reviews legislation pending before the New Hampshire Legislature to determine if the proposal affects the administration of justice, the composition and operation of the courts, the practice of law or the legal profession.

Announcement: 2017 NWCDN to Host Fall Conference in Atlanta

The National Workers Compensation Defense Network is hosting its 2017 Fall Conference in Atlanta, Georgia on October 19, 2017. The NWCDN event is open to all NWCDN member firms and their invited guests, and attendees are never charged. The all-day conference will be conducted on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at the Ritz-Carlton, Buckhead located at 3434 Peachtree Rd NE.

Fall 2017 NHAA Education Conference

The NHAA will be holding its fall education conference on Friday October 27, 2017 at the Manchester Country Club in Bedford, NH. All courses have been approved for 1 Workers’ Comp and/or 1 Multi-Line Credit (depending on what you need). The conference will begin at 8:00 am, with registration at 7:00 am, and continuing through to 4:30 pm, after which there will be a cocktail reception.
