John B. Schulte joined Bernard & Merrill as an associate attorney in March 2026 and focuses on the defense of workers’ compensation and personal injury matters. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and received his Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School in 1991.

Following law school, he served as a law clerk to the New Hampshire Supreme Court. In 1992, he began his career with Liberty Mutual as a litigation attorney, later advancing to manage the company’s litigation offices in New Hampshire and Maine from 1997 through 2026. Attorney Schulte is admitted to practice in NH, MA, and ME.
