On April 2, 2009 Attorney Eric Bernard was a panelist at the 8^th Annual New Hampshire Bar Association’s Labor & Employment Law Update seminar where he provided a presentation on changes to the New Hampshire workers’ compensation law.

Attorneys Eric P. Bernard and Donna M. Daneke will be presenting at the Advanced Workers’ Compensation Seminar hosted by the New Hampshire Bar Association on March 27, 2009. Attorney Bernard will be speaking on average weekly wage issues, lump sum settlement evaluations and legal updates. Attorney Daneke will be will be speaking on issues of vocational rehabilitation, surveillance and settlement analyses.

Attorney Kevin W. Stuart is partnering with Wickstrom Insurance & Risk Training Center to host an on-line training session. This web-based seminar provides a comprehensive overview of the New Hampshire Workers’ Compensation system. The seminar consists of four learning modules and one exam that were authored by Attorney Stuart and provides participants 2.5 hours of his audio & visual instruction. Attorney Donna Daneke has been selected to serve as a member on the Manchester Heritage Commission.

Attorney Kevin W. Stuart will be presenting at the Workers’ Compensation Update Seminar to be held on January 16, 2009 in Manchester, NH. Attorney Harding persuaded the Court to reverse and remand a decision rendered by the Compensation Appeals Board regarding a procedural issue involving the carrier’s right to a “stay” of the payment of medical bills. This decision was featured in an article published in the November 2008 issue of ‘Risk & Insurance’.

Attorney Merrill will be a presenter at the Workers’ Compensation CLE seminar sponsored by the New Hampshire Association for Justice on November 7, 2008. He will be discussing updates on Statutory and Case Law.

The New Hampshire Adjusters Association annual conference is scheduled for Thursday, October 16th and Friday, October 17th. Topics will include the Second Injury Fund, Third Party Claims, Mediation, Fraud, Home and Garment Restoration, Evidence of Medical Expenses in Liability Claims and Pain Management. Attorney Daneke is the co-moderator of the conference. Attorney Merrill will be presenting an update of legislation enacted and decisions rendered by the NH Supreme Court over the past year. On May 20, 2008 Attorney Eric Bernard was appointed Vice Chair of the Town of Bedford, New Hampshire’s Zoning Board of Adjustment.
