Attorney Kevin W. Stuart will be presenting at the Workers’ Compensation Update seminar hosted by Lorman Education Services in July 2010. He will lecture on Compensation Appeals Board and Department of Labor hearings.

Congratulations to Attorney Harding, on March 5, 2010 he was elected as an officer of the New Hampshire Bar Association’s Workers’ Compensation Section.

On April 9, 2010 Attorney Eric Bernard will present at the 9th Annual New Hampshire Bar Association’s Labor & Employment Law Update seminar where he will speak on recent changes to the New Hampshire workers’ compensation law.

Merrill for his recognition in the 2009 edition of New England Super Lawyers, only 5% of the attorneys in New England are selected for this honor. Bernard & Merrill is also proud to announce that Attorney Kevin W. Stuart has been recognized in the 2009 list of New England Super Lawyers Rising Stars.

Attorneys Eric P. Bernard and Andrew A. Merrill will be presenting at the NH Adjuster’s Association Fall Claims Conference in November 2009. Attorney Bernard will be speaking on topics pertaining to the New Hampshire Labor Department hearing process, RSA 281-A: 48, Review of Eligibility for Compensation, and unsettled issues concerning attorney’s fees, interest and costs. Attorney Merrill will discuss NH Supreme Court cases impacting workers’ compensation law and practice, as well as statutory and regulatory changes over the past 12 months.

Attorney Donna M. Daneke was appointed to serve on the City of Manchester’s Planning Board in the spring of 2009. The Manchester Planning Board hears applications for subdivision, site plans, planned developments and conditional use permits. The Planning Board also works on long-range plans such as the community master plan.

On April 2, 2009 Attorney Eric Bernard was a panelist at the 8^th Annual New Hampshire Bar Association’s Labor & Employment Law Update seminar where he provided a presentation on changes to the New Hampshire workers’ compensation law.

Attorneys Eric P. Bernard and Donna M. Daneke will be presenting at the Advanced Workers’ Compensation Seminar hosted by the New Hampshire Bar Association on March 27, 2009. Attorney Bernard will be speaking on average weekly wage issues, lump sum settlement evaluations and legal updates. Attorney Daneke will be will be speaking on issues of vocational rehabilitation, surveillance and settlement analyses.

Attorney Kevin W. Stuart is partnering with Wickstrom Insurance & Risk Training Center to host an on-line training session. This web-based seminar provides a comprehensive overview of the New Hampshire Workers’ Compensation system. The seminar consists of four learning modules and one exam that were authored by Attorney Stuart and provides participants 2.5 hours of his audio & visual instruction.
